Free and clear, no obligation quotes
I don’t quote for work until I’ve discussed your specific requirements and assessed the condition and capacity of your present installation. This way you will have a quote you can rely on and we can both be as sure as possible that there won’t be any nasty surprises unearthed after the work has started.

As a guide, this is how my labour costs are calculated:
Minimum Charge - £45, covering first hour of work
Standard Hourly Rate - £36, charged per 30 minutes
Standard Day Rate - £250 based on 8 hours
Emergency call-out (after 5.00pm and weekends) - £75 for first hour then £22 per 30 minutes thereafter
Periodic Inspection and Condition Reports - £60 per distribution board plus £18 per circuit therein (Minimum charge of £140),
Standard Rates
These also apply to pre-scheduled work outside normal working hours, e.g. evenings and weekends.

Emergency Call-outs
A call-out can be quite expensive for you and inconvenient to me. Whenever possible, I offer customers free advice and guidance to resolve the problem as long as it is safe for them to do so.

Peace of Mind
For all good tradespeople, the recommendation of existing customers is vital to generate new business. Therefore it’s important to me that I offer real value for money, while still providing a quality service.

As a NAPIT registered Domestic Installer, all my work is tested, accompanied by relevant certificates and notified to your Local Authority Building Control whenever necessary.

I am fully insured and for added reassurance I have a clear DBS record.
